1. Service Description

SupplementBuilder ("Service") is a web-based tool that helps auto body shops create, format, and export insurance supplement documents. The Service includes AI-powered text rewriting, photo management, and PDF generation capabilities.

2. Account Terms

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use SupplementBuilder to create legitimate insurance supplement documents for auto body repair work. You may not:

  • Create fraudulent or misleading supplement documents
  • Use the service to inflate repair costs or misrepresent damage
  • Share account credentials with unauthorized users
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
  • Use the service for any illegal purpose

4. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create using SupplementBuilder, including supplement text, photos, and generated PDFs. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the Service (e.g., improving AI rewrite quality), but will never share identifiable business information with third parties.

5. Payment Terms

Free accounts have usage limits as described on our pricing page. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time, and your access continues through the end of the current billing period.

Prices may change with 30 days notice. No refunds for partial months, but we'll work with you on billing issues.

6. AI-Generated Content

The AI rewrite feature generates suggested text based on your input. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before including it in supplement documents. SupplementBuilder does not guarantee that AI-generated text will result in supplement approval.

7. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects access. We will provide reasonable notice for planned downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

SupplementBuilder is a formatting and writing assistance tool. We are not responsible for:

  • Insurance claim outcomes or supplement approval/denial decisions
  • Accuracy of labor rates, parts pricing, or terminology suggestions
  • Business losses resulting from supplement denials
  • Data loss due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, you may request export of your data within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
